Top 8 romantic places (some maybe unusual)

It’s that time of the year when everybody is talking about love, romantic places and gestures. This year I decided to write something on the topic – top 8 romantic places – though maybe some are unusual for you ;).

I’ll tell you the top first – and then the idea behind it! I’ve split the top in 2 parts – so there are 2 top 4 romantic places.

Top 8 romantic places (some maybe unusual) - Valentine's Day

First Top 4 Romantic Places

    1. Tour of the castles in Salzburg (Austria) where the movie “Sound of the music” was filmed – and then maybe a dinner for two in a nice restaurant
    2. Going to an ice hotel and staying there at least one night, enjoying ice rooms, the view, the idea (the hotel could be in Romania, the one in Germany – or anywhere else)
    3. Paris – a walk through the city and maybe dinner in the Eiffel Tour – or in another place

  1. Venice – a walk “on water”, admiring the sights and city

The second 4 Romantic Places

    1. Going North – toward Horn Cape – Norway or something in the area – to see the Aurora Borealis
    2. Playing with tigers, lions and other “cats” in a natural reserve – like Rhino And Lion Nature Reserve, South Africa

    3. A vacation in Monaco – or at least Nice

  1. A cruise on Mediterranean Sea

Interesting places, right? Well, as you can see they are not related exclusively to February 14th and Valentine’s Day. There are many places – interesting – but also romantic in different parts of the year.

And now the idea behind the top. As I was reading all sorts of articles about romantic places, I decided to ask my dear husband which would be his top 3 romantic places. Now, he is a very dear and loving man, but not very typically romantic. He has his moments – and I adore them – but they are not necessarily the “common” ones. So this question was practically a hard try for him 🙂 He is an engineer – like he likes to joke – but I told him he is my engineer and he has to think of me and come up with 3 places.

So he did his best and tried hard and the second top of 4 romantic places is his. Now, I also have to say he’s not a big fan of a cruise – but he inserted it there for me. And also, due to my leg condition he couldn’t include something like hiking, going on a mountain and other such similar and lovely places that we, unfortunately, cannot share.

The first top is, as you have already guessed, mine. Andrei says instead of Venice he would recommend Florence and would like to visit it with me. Also, he is not very excited about Paris as a romantic place. He considers it as a very well promoted destination – but not necessarily a place to go when thinking of romantic places. But then again, he visited Paris, I haven’t been there…

I have to admit that when I saw his top I realized that his first 2 choices are great. So a final Top 3 most romantic places would be:

  1. Going North – toward Horn Cape – Norway or something in the area – to see the Aurora Borealis
  2. Playing with tigers, lions and other “cats” in a natural reserve – like Rhino And Lion Nature Reserve, South Africa (Andrei so had me here since I love cats and would love to play with bigger ones – and he played in 2011 with a tiger!)
  3. Tour of the castles in Salzburg (Austria) where the movie “Sound of the music” was filmed – and then maybe a dinner for two in a nice restaurant

Of course, this is a Top 3 most romantic places in the world as picked out by my husband and me.

Hello this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs
use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code with HTML.

I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding expertise so I wanted to get advice from
someone with experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!

An intriguing discussion may be valued at comment. There’s no doubt that that you should write much more about this topic, it will not become a taboo subject but normally consumers are too few to talk on such topics. To a higher. Cheers
