A depository for bicycles in Amsterdam

As you probably know, many people ride a bike in Amsterdam. But, every now and then there are situations when the bicycles lead to unsafe situations. “The Fietsdepot is the City of Amsterdam’s bicycle depository. It receives all bicycles that have been found or removed by City District officials or the police.” mentions the official website.

This garage can accommodate up to 2,000 bicycles. “All bicycles are stored for six weeks and are checked for signs of theft. Stolen bicycles will be returned to their owners free of charge, provided they live in Amsterdam.”

So, if you are in Amsterdam and your bike disappears, be sure to check The Fietsdepot, the bicycle depository in Amsterdam.
