On our first trip to Vienna (well, to Germany, by car, but with a one and a half day stop to Vienna – such great memories!) one of the first buildings we saw impressed us. We had no idea what were they, until we did some research later on and discovered that they were in fact the famous Parndorf Outlet.
Located at approximately 2 km. from Vienna (accessible thus by car), this outlet has 37.000 square meters and offers great prices for clothes and other products for men, women, kids and even house. There are over 150 shops here and you will also find a playground for children.
As we were in the car, I managed to take some photos – I hope you will like them:). Click on each for a larger view.
One thing I have to say though is that we didn’t manage to get to Parndorf in either of the two trips we had in Vienna. We wanted to visit the city and, I must confess, we were there during the sale season (late June, early July) and Mariahilferstrasse was enough for us. I am in fact recommending you to read this article on Shopping in Vienna: what to choose: Mariahilferstrasse or outlets near Wien? This is why I cannot say how the prices really are, compared to those in the city, but I guess as it is an outlet, you will find good offers all year long. My friends who were there said they indeed good some good deals.
