See live images from the top of the Everest (Chomolungma) – amazing!

As I opened my computer today and then the Internet browser with all the tabs left open last night, a great image popped in front of my eyes. The Everest. And it is NOT a photo. NO! There is a webcam that provides such great live images (daily, between 3-15 GMT – as I understood)!

Did you know that Everest is called by the locals Chomolungma (which in a translation would mean Holy Mum)?

Oh, and another confession. Why am I so happy that I am able to see these live images – as anyone else on earth? Well, I know I’ll never be able to climb on Everest (a problem with my leg). So yes, I truly appreciate the opportunity to see what only the great explorers see. Yes, I know, I don’t feel the air – so it’s not a full experience, but I still love this possibility.

The camera was installed on top with a reason. Through this project, people try to draw attention to climate changes on Earth.

I invite you to join me and see images this great mountain in Himalaya by accessing this link. Do you like what you see?
