Well, I have to admit I like to take photos and sometimes I do that while in the car. Not while driving, my husband is on the wheel, I’m the passenger. Today I was looking through some photos from our last trip with the car and I saw this photo of houses from the north-east part of the country, in the hills/mountains area.
As you can see, the houses are linked, not separate by gardens like you’ll see in the plain areas. They also have a different style than that of the houses in the plains, as these houses in the northern part of the country had other influences (Austrian-Hungarian Empire).
I will try to put together a photo essay with houses from various areas in Romania, but until then I hope you’ll like this photo of Romanian houses seen from the car. Click on the photo for a much larger view.
