Old door in the Mogosoaia Palace
The Mogosoaia Palace, easily accessible from Bucharest as it is only about 10 kilometres away, offers a generous park where you can stay and breathe fresh air and play different games (we usually go for badminton). The palace itself is also impressive (as I told you before, it was built built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what the Brâncovenesc style or, as it is also known, the Romanian Renaissance style).
Inside this Palace you’ll find some of the original pieces – old carpets, photos, some objects and even old doors, such as the one I’m presenting you today. The patterns used to decorate these doors are interesting.
