Go camping (and) on water with the Sealander
A German designer worked two years in making reality a “vehicle”, a concept that would allow anyone to go camping like with an ordinary caravan but also to float, go on water, if desired. This concept is named the Sealander and it will be offered for sale from the beginning of next year.
With the Sealander the pleasures of camping are combined with those of cruising in a single holiday. Now, people don’t need to choose between camping or go on water – they can do them both and in their on means of transportation.
There is a downside however, for the interior is not very spacious. It has only 160 cm wide and 185 cm high. With the roof pulled over there isn’t too much space in there so probably the claustrophobic people won’t buy the Sealander.
The price is set at almost $20,000 (~£13,000). There is also an official site .
