Would You Fly with These Unusual Cargo Holds?
Not all cargos are created equal, at least not if you have enough to pay whatever an airline demands to carry your more unusual loads to the desired destination. Most of us don’t pack more than clothes and large items – like toys, or electrical devices – to fly cargo. The infographic below, however, provided by Schumacher Cargo, shows us that all we need is a little bit of imagination, and deep pockets, to have anything under the sun transported in passenger flights.
While many passengers enjoy the flight, worry-free, the ULD containers in the cargo holds of the aircraft may be stocked with live Christmas tree, manatees, poisonous snakes (and Samuel L. Jackson may not be in the same flight to protect the plane in case of emergency), and even more shocking loads, like radioactive materials, human and animal sperm, and donor breast milk, among others.
As tight as the airport security may seem, don’t think that airplanes do not carry explosive materials. In fact, for the right price, you can even register your guns as cargo.
Can you think of other unusual cargo loads to mention? Share your thoughts in the comments.
