The Sacré-Cœur Basilica from Paris by Night

Montmartre is a very special part of Paris, one that my husband managed to see when he was alone in Paris, with work, and one that I didn’t visit when I was in France’s capital this year, with my husband, in our short trip, due to my knee problem and bad turned recovery. One of the gems of this area is Sacré-Cœur Basilica – its complete name being La Basilique du Sacré Cœur de Montmartre or, as it is known in English, The Basilica of the Sacred Heart. Dedicated, as the name suggests, to Jesus Christ’s heart, this Roman Catholic church and minor basilica is a true beauty and a peaceful place.
I’ll tell you more about it in a more comprehensive post on Paris, today however, I wanted to show you The Sacré-Cœur Basilica from Paris by night. I hope you’ll like the photo – click on it for a larger view!
