Photos: Rotterdam seen from the boat
One of the not to miss activities in Rotterdam is taking a longer or shorter trip with a boat. The prices are accessible, and the view, well, the view is amazing. The water is clear and you will have the opportunity to see the city from the water.
Also, you will have a closer look at the Erasmus Bridge :).
I admit that the first time I heard the history of the Rotterdam city and that it all started with a dam in the Rotter river in 1270 I found it very interesting.
Since then, Rotterdam has become a very important harbor and a wonderful city with a vibrant life, wonderful people, great architecture and some special tourist landmarks. In this city you’ll find beautiful houses, interesting buildings, lovely and peaceful churches, parks, restaurants and, of course, the impressive and huge port (I’ll have a special article for the latter). This port is in fact the largest cargo port in Europe and the 10th largest in the world. That’s impressive.
I have several friends who visited Rotterdam and they all were impressed. The photos you’ll see below are actually sent by a dear friend who was there recently.
Have you been to Rotterdam? Did you like this city?
