Where would you host your travel site?

If you don’t want to have a site hosted on a platform along with many other sites/blogs – like for instance wordpress.com, then you might think of getting your own domain. A great idea, but where will you host it? How do you make sure you made the best choice about the hosting package, hosting service provider and so on?

There are many such service providers all over the world, all with interesting offers. Some already host the sites of important projects of major companies. Others are service providers for smaller sites – probably like your project at first. One thing is for sure: once you enter a website, you feel like this is the one with the perfect offer. And then you access another website, browse through the offers there and you are convinced that this is in fact the best choice. If you enter a third site – the same story. Should I go on?

Accessing each of these hosting service providers’ site takes time. You have to read the conditions, pay attention to the packages offered and so on. A site that offers information on important hosting providers should thus prove very useful. You have all the essential information in one place. Of course, you have links to the reviewed sites if you want to find out more, directly from the source.

I recently found such a site – web hosting bluebook. As I was browsing it I found out some interesting information on some hosting providers. For instance I wanted to find out more about HostMonster and to compare with data on BlueHost. I find the presentations of the websites to be short and comprehensive. Information is well structured, therefor making it easy to compare offers. Of course there are many other sites reviewed, a good reason to pay them a visit.
