The exhibition I didn’t expect to see at a technical museum

OK, I admit: I was really amazed to see a whole room dedicated to strollers at the Technical Museum in Brno.

The strollers here date from various periods and show the evolution of this really important item when raising a baby. Seeing how the dimensions of wheels evolved, as well as seeing various strollers’ concepts was really interesting, but it was the first time I saw such an exhibit in a technical museum (in any museum, for that matter) and I was surprised.

Here’s a photo with some of the strollers. What do you think about this idea of items exhibited in a technical museum?

I’d be surprised to find that exhibit in a technical museum, too. We just bought my niece a stroller that has places for her THREE children — strollers have come a long way! 🙂
