Glasgow Botanical Garden Orchid Fair

So, I’ve traveled to Glasgow these days and I’ve been at an orchid fair. I personally don’t really love orchids, but I was pretty curious to see how the event looked like.

Hundreds of orchids were on display and for sale in the beautiful setting of The Kibble Palace in the Glasgow Botanical Garden from Saturday to Sunday. It was on the Great Western Road in Glasgow so I combined it with a day looking at the botanical treasures in this wonderful parkland and greenhouses.

Here I’ve met some representatives of the Scottish Orchid Society and they were really nice. Too bad I couldn’t travel with an orchid in my luggage:P
