Traditional Romanian costumes at a folklore concert

We visited recently The Village Museum in Bucharest. It was a beautiful Sunday and, when we got to the museum, we saw that there was a stage there and a concert taking place. Famous folklore artists from all the areas of the country were present.

People were enjoying the concert – both Romanians present there, and the tourists who were at the museum at that particular moment. Our folklore songs are often happy, with a rhythm inviting you to dance.

Here are some photos (click on each photo for a larger size) with a famous Romanian singer and the accompanying dancing group.
