International Mosaicultures 2013 Special Exhibition at Montreal Botanical Garden in Photos
Yes, I promised you this post with many photos from The Mosaïcultures Internationales Montréal earlier, but didn’t manage to write it. Or, to be more accurate, it was really hard for me to choose only some of the beautiful photos of the amazing sculptures made of living plants received from our friend, Dan Mitea. But I tried to make a selection including many of the sculptures, some of the details, even if leaving out the explanations.
I do recommend you to visit this exhibition if you have the time and are in Montreal. The Mosaïcultures Internationales Montréal is open until September 29, 2013, so you still have some time.
Apart from the photos I included in the small preview here, I discovered a complete fascinating world of elaborate sculptures made by horticulture giants. It takes a lot of imagination to put together such an amazing exhibition, to create these figures and to give them the expressions they have. I’ll stop right now and invite you into an amazing exhibition.
Click on each photo for a larger view! The sculptures are definitely worth it!
It looks like Edward Scissorhands had a field day designing these gorgeous plants and shrubs.
