Lisbon is the capital city and largest city of Portugal. According to visitlisboa.com, legend has it that Lisboa was founded by Ulysses. The name comes from “Olissipo”, which has its origins in the Phoenician words “Allis Ubbo”, meaning “enchanting port”.
