Try a new hobby – feeding wild birds!

Strasbourg is situated in eastern France, not far from the border with Germany, being the principal city of the Alsace region. I moved here some months ago, and today I want to share with you one of the things I love most about this city.

Strasbourg is situated on the III River, so the river passes through the centre of town. Therefore, the tow-path next to the canal is used by the locals for picnicking, strolling or running.

Above all these, feeding wild birds or animals has become one of the most popular outdoor activities today.

A few days ago, as it was quite a warm and sunny day I went for a nice relaxing stroll in the sunshine, but I took with me some bread, cracked corn and seeds thinking to feed the birds.

This way some white swans and sea gulls, a few wild geese and ducks got served their lunch. Surprisingly, a water rat came out of the water and grabbed a loaf of bread. They were super cute.

Here are some photos!

Each time anyone asks me to say something about myself, I find it a very difficult thing to do. Why? Shouldn’t be quite easy to make some PR for yourself, especially if you are in loved with this particular kind of job? The answer should definitely be a positive one, but again…I prefer to let the others or my activities to speak for myself. But there are a few things that I can tell you: I am trying to live my life by what Ghandi used to say: “You must be the change that you wish to see”, I love everything about public relations, advertising and media, I am passionate about reading and travelling, and let’s face it, about some adventure now and then.

They are really cute, you know? :))) They are a mixture of rats with birds (if you look closer you can see their back feet are similar to the ones of a duck).
