The first Waste Museum in Europe

On 23rd November 2010 the first Waste Museum in Europe was open in Romania.

A strange idea? I don’t think so. It’s a good idea giving the fact that its purpose is to show the 13 most common types of waste and how to recycle. There is also a special area for primary and secondary school children.

Everyone can find out the difference between recyclable and dangerous waste and about co-incineration.

Since protecting the environment is an international concern, I find this museum an interesting idea – and useful too, for many people. There is also a collection of waste area – definitely a useful one.

The museum is located in a mall – Afi Palace – in Bucharest, Romania. An interesting choice, wouldn’t you say?

How do you find this idea of a waste museum – the first in Europe?
