Photo of the week: Statue of Liberty, New York

Undoubtedly a symbol for almost anyone on this planet. Statue of Liberty – (Liberty Enlightening the World) – is, as we find out from Wikipedia too, a colossal neoclassical sculpture on Liberty Island in New York Harbor, designed by Frédéric Bartholdi and dedicated on October 28, 1886.

Today, Statue of Liberty is the subject of “photo of the week” section, a photo made in 2008 by Dan Mitea.
