Royalty magnified: A closer look at France

There are many reasons why France is a popular destination; but perhaps the most recent reason is the movie The Da Vinci Code. So if you’re a fan, first stop is the Louvre museum recently made famous by the last scene in the movie The Da Vinci Code.

Something eerie is likewise in store for travelers. The Catacombs of Paris is the resting place of six million souls and it is also the burial place of Princess Elizabeth of France.

Perhaps the most iconic structure for France is the Arc de Triomphe located in Paris, France. Arc de Triomphe de l’Étoile can be found at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées. This is not hard to find for tourists since it is located at the capital where buzzing motors usually cruise.

Royalty in France is as grand as the Palace of Versailles. Palace of Versailles now functions as a museum but history books will show that this building is a symbol of the power of the French monarchy.

The French experience is not complete without feeling romantic under the presence of the Eifel Tower. One of the most iconic structures around the world, the Eifel Tower has been the subject of many Hollywood movies.

In visiting France, check your local tourist agency to know the cheap airfares to France.
