A little bit of the Dominican Republic

It’s snowy and cold here – so I thought that today I could share with you some photos from a much warmer part of the world: from the Dominican Republic.

The pictures you’ll see below are from my friend Dan Mitea and they were taken this summer in that country. Frankly, they show you the way I’d like to feel right now: relaxed, taking a break and just enjoying it. But, until I’ll have a vacation, back to work – after the small break seeing the photos.

Canadian is cold. Dominican is not. I am jealous and loving the post! 🙂

Dear Andrea, as I mentioned this is a break… and a photo from a dear friend. I am now actually in a very-very cold European country – Romania (we had -20 degrees Celsius here, apparently looking forward to even lower temperatures – and I am speaking of the temperature where I live, not in the country’s coldest places…). So I am with you – on the cold territories…

I’m a big fan of the DR. Have been 6 times and twice backpacking around the country. Wonderful people.

Have always loved the Dominican! My favorite place on the island in Bayahibe on the south end on the Caribbean Sea. A great all inclusive vacation destination for us Canadians up here in the cold! 🙂
