Milan Central Train Station

by Lori

Located in the center of city, the Milan Central Train Station is the main railway station in Milan and is considered to be one of the most beautiful European train stations.

Built originally in 1864, in 1931 a terminus was inaugurated (to replace the old train station, a transit station that wasn’t adapted to the big traffic). The station is close to some famous Milan tourist objectives – such as the Duomo for instance.

I have to admit that this station really looks interesting and that some details are truly impressive. And how a picture is worth a 1000 words, I’m letting you enjoy some of the photos of the Milan Central Train Station made by my husband, Andrei.
